Jesus Christ Himself declared in Matthew 17:20 (NKJV), “…if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Faith is the assurance that what God says is already settled—even if circumstances say otherwise. It is rooted in God’s integrity, not our feelings.

When He said, “You will say to this mountain… and it will move,” He was showing us that no problem—no matter how big—is greater than the power of God. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). It’s not enough to believe—you must act. When you feel led to take a step, do it. Faith in action might mean applying for a job you’re unqualified for, sowing a financial seed, or starting a business with little resources—just because God said so.

d. Persistence Despite Delay

Faith isn’t just for the short term. Hebrews 6:12 tells us to follow those who inherit promises “through faith and patience.” Sometimes the answer is delayed, but not denied. Keep trusting, declaring, and expecting.

After five years of separation, a woman refused to give up on her marriage. She kept declaring restoration, praying and fasting for her husband. He returned home transformed, and they now lead a marriage ministry. Faith restores.

8. Faith and the Impossible

Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Faith thrives in the impossible. When man says “no way,” God says “watch Me.” Your job is to believe. His job is to perform.

Impossible Is Where God Begins

Lazarus was dead for four days. It was over—humanly. But John 11 shows us Jesus called him back to life. If your dream is buried, faith can resurrect it.

Matthew 6:10 – “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Faith is heaven’s currency. Use it to transact healing, provision, and miracles from God’s storehouse.
